One to One Counselling:

We all have times when we feel unable to cope on our own and need to share our feelings in a way that is not always possible with family and friends, where we need to feel supported and respected without judgement.

My role as counsellor is to provide a supportive, professional relationship enabling you to talk about what is troubling you, whilst listening carefully to what you have to say. The aim is to help you to become clearer about both the extent of the effect of the problem and so enable you to recognise possible solutions in order to make your life the way you want it to be. Or, if the situation cannot be changed, to work with the counsellor to help you come to terms with the issue and find ways to move forward with your life.

Counselling offers you the chance to explore your feelings around emotional and personal issues in a safe and confidential environment. It gives us the space to listen to ourselves and be heard and to work towards our own solutions.

Choosing to attend for one to one or couples counselling can seem daunting at first, but it can help you with some of the following issues:

Bereavement
Relationship problems
Personal or work stress
Emotional problems like anxiety or depression
Increase your self esteem

Couples Counselling:

Sometimes we can go through difficult times with our partner and couples counselling can help. Being able to share your thoughts and feelings with a 3rd person present can help resolve issues of conflict, break down barriers and improve communication between you and your partner.
