Sometimes our relationships can go through difficult times, due to various factors, and it can be helpful to discuss your feelings alongside your partner, with an independent and professional counsellor. Couple counselling can provide a safe, neutral and balanced environment for you both to express sometimes difficult and painful thoughts and feelings to each other, and with the help and support of the counsellor to come to a better understanding as to how you want the relationship to improve. It can help you to resolve anger, hurt and conflict, exploring how to talk and listen to each other better. However, if that’s not possible then we can work towards how you can establish a different relationship going forward. It is important for both parties to have enough goodwill to enter into the therapeutic relationship. Couple counselling sessions can be for an hour, or an hour and a half, depending on your requirements.
